Duties and Responsibilities:
As this CBT/Education Developer, you will produce designs for online content and determine the size and arrangement of illustrative material, including selecting style and size of type, and arranging layout based upon available space.
Your role will be to conduct research and creates eLearning prototypes. You will be asked to conceptualize, design, and produce graphics demonstrating complex technical constructs and concepts.
You will create interactive courseware using Adobe Creative Suite, including Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator, and similar tools. This will require collaborating and communicating with other developers, instructional designers, and graphic artists
Updates/Maintains multi-media instructional design documents.
You will apply instructional systems design (ISD) theories and learning principles; understand how training interventions fit within a business solution; and provide reporting to management on training development progress and completion.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in graphics design, instructional design, or related field and 2 or more years experience in training, education, or instructional design principles
Experience creating graphics and animation to support eLearning content
Working knowledge and use of multiple coding languages (read and write basic, HTML/DHTML/Action script/JavaScript/XML/CSS)
Experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs, web-based training development, and asynchronous learning content
Well-versed in standard Adobe Macromedia products (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks) 3 - 5 years intensive or progressive experience
Experience in CBT development tools and ability to build interactions, pop-ups, and integrate simulations into learning programs
2 years experience working with course development accelerator tools like Oracle's User Productivity Kit (UPK)
2-3 years solid experience in a functional training role with emphasis on technology and business process training development and design
Desired Qualifications:
Experience working with communications practices, principles and procedures
Experience making presentations to groups
